The Home Office has released the following information about the Expenses incurred by the five highest claimants of expenses within the department during 2008. The five people who incurred the largest costs are all middle ranking officials within the UK Border Agency (UKBA) whose work has necessitated the payments outlined below. The claims reflect a combination of expenses and business allowances, for example those relating to relocating to another part of the country or abroad for work purposes.
