The UK Space Agency commissioned RAND Europe and know.space to deliver an evaluation of the UK Space Agency’s Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation (CEOI) programme from May 2023 to March 2025.

This final report presents the findings of the CEOI programme evaluation. It includes an overview of the UK Earth Observation (EO) sector, evaluation of perceived CEOI impacts, the economic evaluation of the programme, and evaluation of CEOI processes.

This report presents findings assessing the perceived impacts, execution, and value for money of the CEOI, aiming to understand how the programme has enhanced EO capabilities in the UK.
