In September 2025, Ofsted launched the renewed education inspection framework (EIF) and began inspecting under the framework from November 2025.
Ofsted commissioned IFF Research, an independent social research agency, to evaluate the implementation of the renewed EIF.
This summary report provides insights from the first 4 waves of surveys, covering inspections from January 2026 onwards that were published before the end of May 2026. It includes insights to key findings from qualitative focus groups and interviews.
