Details

As part of its continual evaluation programme, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) commissioned DotEcon and IFF Research to review 5 past Competition Act 1998 (CA98) decisions.

The review focuses on estimating the deterrent effect of the CA98 cases and our follow-up compliance activities. It also presents evidence on the direct impacts of the CMA’s intervention on consumers, and on relevant firms’ awareness of the CMA enforcement and competition law.
