Details

This research report evaluates the local authority major schemes (LMS) funded between 2008 and 2020.

It outlines findings from the research, which include:

  • delivery costs of the schemes
  • if all the LMS could achieve travel demand objectives
  • wider impacts of the schemes
  • value for money of the schemes

The Department for Transport (DfT) commissioned Arup to carry out this research.
