The Find a job service offers a simple way for jobseekers to look for work and for employers to post job adverts. It has a simple login process, an enhanced search function, a facility for jobseekers to upload and share their CVs whilst automatically recording onsite activity and job applications. The Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) women, mental health and COVID-19 factsheet explores statistics surrounding BAME women through the COVID-19 lens. A third of COVID-19 patients are from BAME backgrounds which is disproportionate when compared to their 13% representation in the UK population. Business leaders call on Prime Minister to introduce mandatory ethnicity pay gap reporting

Apprenticeship Diversity Champions Network

The Apprenticeship Diversity Champions Network (ADCN) champions apprenticeships and diversity amongst employers. It encourages more people from underrepresented groups, including those with disabilities, women and members of the black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities, to consider apprenticeships. COVID-19: mitigation of risks in occupational settings with a focus on ethnic minority groups

The review carried out by Public Health England (PHE) showed that there is an association between belonging to some ethnic groups and the likelihood of testing positive and dying of COVID-19. More information is available in the guidance about mitigation of risks.

Inclusive Employers Toolkit

The inclusive employer’s toolkit aims to help employers in London increase recruitment, retention and progression of young black men within their workforces. The toolkit is for use by senior leaders and recruitment staff within the construction and digital technology industries. It will equip employers with practical tools and examples of good practice from within these sectors not only in London but in other areas too.
