Details

The UK has one of the world’s leading environments for innovative businesses, with strengths in research, talent, entrepreneurship and investment. This prospectus sets out further action to build on those strengths.

Building on the ambition set out in the 2025 Entrepreneurship in the UK prospectus, it brings together the next phase of government support for founders, employees and investors building high-growth businesses in the UK.

The prospectus sets out action to reduce barriers to growth, improve access to talent, customers and capital, strengthen the UK’s innovation ecosystem, and make it easier for innovative businesses to grow and compete globally from a UK base.

It includes further action on research and commercialisation, regulation and procurement, tax support for entrepreneurs, access to growth capital and more coherent support for high-growth firms.
