Immigration Enforcement officers conducted enforcement visits to Helmsley Spice, 1 Bridge Street, Helmsley, North Yorkshire on 3 occasions.
During the first enforcement visit officers made 5 arrests; during the second they made 3 arrests and during the third they made 1 arrest. These arrests were for a variety of immigration offences, namely:
- working in breach of the conditions of leave to remain in the UK
- illegally entering the UK and overstaying leave to remain in the UK
Civil Penalty Referral Notices (formerly known as a ‘Notice of Potential Liability’) were served upon the owner of the business on 2 of the 3 occasions.
