The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities commissioned Homeless Link to undertake research about how local authorities across England have implemented the new Ending Rough Sleeping Data Framework, including a review of data collection methods, to help inform quality assurance processes for improved data quality.
The Ending Rough Sleeping Data Framework, was launched across England in May 2023 and sets out a clear and defined vision for ending rough sleeping, which is that it is prevented wherever possible, and where it does occur it is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
