The first interim findings from the evaluation of the 2021 reforms to the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) to understand how they have been implemented and to evaluate their impact.

This report presents the interim findings from the first stage of the NPQ evaluation, which includes:
- qualitative findings from cohort 1
- quantitative findings from cohort 2 (which the impacts will be measured against)
- an early insight into how effectively the NPQs are being delivered in order to inform the ongoing development and improvements to the programme
Findings are drawn from a survey of 3,250 NPQ participants and 46 qualitative interviews with a mix of:
- NPQ participants
- NPQ providers
- school representatives
- a DfE representative
