What’s happening

Lavenders Green at Ely Riverside
East Cambridgeshire District Council will be carrying out repair works to the fendering along Lavenders Green at Ely Riverside. The existing fendering is in need of repair and the works will improve the safety and appearance of the riverbank.
Grand Central restaurant
East Cambridgeshire District Council will be carrying out re-profiling works of the river bed at the moorings at ‘Grand Central’ restaurant. This will involve dredging an area of 6 metres by 18 metres of silt from the edge of the channel; the works will roughly take 1 day to complete, although locating the dredger equipment will take a day each side of the works.
Installation of 20 metres of plastic fendering along the concrete mooring quay head and installation of 5 mooring rings at the Grand Central restaurant.
