This document has been superseded by the Electric vehicle homecharge scheme: guidance for installers 2016.

The guidance document sets out the information that providers and installers need to install domestic chargepoints from 13 April 2015 to 29 February 2016. It also outlines the process by which the electric vehicle homecharge scheme grant is claimed on behalf of the homeowner.

The approved chargepoint document lists approved manufacturers and models.

Some of the requirements are different to the previous electric vehicle homecharge scheme so please ensure that you read this document in full.
