1. Information: new Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) launched
A new Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) which replaces the Building Condition Improvement Fund (BCIF) and the Academies Capital Maintenance Fund (ACMF) has been launched.
The programme is aimed at open academies, those with academy orders signed on or before 1 November 2014 and sixth-form colleges.

2. Information: 2015 to 2016 funding webinar available online now
If you weren’t able to participate in last week’s webinar on academy funding for 2015 to 2016, it is available to view now.
The panel of experts dealt with a range of questions covering Education Services Grant (ESG) rates, timing of funding allocations, sixth-form funding, allocation of high needs places and variations in funding across local authorities.
You can also view the training videos on different aspects of funding for 2015 to 2016, including minimum funding guarantee (MFG), funding outside your general annual grant (GAG) and engaging with your schools forum.
