We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
The number of Domestic Violence Homicide Reviews there have been since their introduction in March 2011 to October 2012.
We released the following information on 29 October 2012.
Since the introduction of domestic homicide reviews on a statutory basis in April 2011, the Home Office has been notified of 132 decisions to undertake a domestic homicide review. It should be noted that this is the number of notifications received as of 23 October 2012 and this number will be subject to change on a daily basis as more notifications are received. We have also given permission to four Community Safety Partnerships to publish completed overview reports which are published at a local level.
