Details

The Domestic Abuse Fund will support proposals for the provision of core support for refuges and other accommodation-based services, helping local areas ensure that no victim is turned away from the support they need.

The government will provide funding of up to £18.8 million over 2 years (2018 to 2020) to support the provision of accommodation-based support services and the local reforms needed to meet the Priorities for Domestic Abuse Services.

This funding builds on £20 million allocated in 2016 to 2018 which has helped to support in creating more than 2,200 new bed spaces in refuges and other specialist accommodation, supporting more than 19,000 survivors with a safe space to rebuild their lives.

The closing date for applications has been extended to 5pm on Tuesday 28 August 2018.
