The UK tech sector is a key driver of economic growth and innovation but continues to face significant diversity challenges. Underrepresentation across ethnicity, gender, neurodiversity, disability, sexual orientation, age, and socio-economic backgrounds in leadership and access to funding constrains the sector’s full potential.

This report provides an overview of diversity in the tech sector, analysing 3 key pillars:

  • industry
  • entrepreneurship
  • skills

Landscape Research Findings examines diversity challenges through the lens of underrepresented groups and, where possible, offers regional insights to inform future policy and practice.
