Applies to England
1. Information: Enter learning data is now available for non-funded apprenticeship providers
Enter learning data (ELD) is now live for non-funded apprenticeship providers to manage their learning data.
Non-funded apprenticeships (FM99) is the latest funding model to join funded apprenticeships (FM36) and Care to Learn funded courses (FM82).
Providers can use ELD to easily create their Individualised Learner Record files.
Benefits include:
- reduced data duplication when entering learners
- real-time validation to help get data correct
- guided user journeys
- improved self-service with guidance links
- web-based service allows multiple users for the same organisation
- storage of data in secure Department for Education (DfE) environment
- links to other DfE services, for example, the Learning Records Service
Providers new to the service can use ELD: set up your ILR and manage your data as a guide.
Additional funding models will be added throughout 2026 so more providers can switch from the Learner Entry Tool.
Emails will be sent out to providers as soon as their funding model is available.
