The department received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) requesting the following:-
Please provide the information held by IND on overall statistics on a yearly basis (from October 2005 to date) for Harmondsworth detained fast track, outlining removals split by nationality, number of cases granted and refused asylum, out of process events (bail and temporary admission), average lengths of time in detention for removed cases and average time in detention for cases leaving the process.
For Yarl’s Wood the figure on cases in process including the top 5 intake nationalities, total removals, including top 5 removal nationalities, the maximum number of days from entry to removal for any single case, and the average time in detention for those cases removed. Including, the number of cases refused and granted and cases taken out of process with the reasons for the out of process event.
