Designated Banks

Unless indicated otherwise below, any entity which is a finance provider for the purposes of the Regulations at the date of this notice and which is a member of a banking group headed by the following entities is a designated bank:

  • AIB Group (UK) Plc (t/a First Trust Bank)

  • Bank of Ireland (UK) Plc

  • Barclays Bank Plc

  • Clydesdale Bank Plc

  • Northern Bank Ltd (t/a Dankse Bank)

  • HSBC Bank Plc

  • Lloyds Banking Group Plc

  • Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc

  • Santander UK Plc

The following finance providers are members of the above banking groups but are not designated for the purposes of the Regulations:

  • Adam & Company Plc

  • Agricultural Mortgage Corporation Plc

  • AIB Group (UK) Plc (t/a Allied Irish Bank (GB))

  • Barclays Private Bank Ltd

  • Cater Allen Ltd

  • Coutts & Company

  • HSBC Private Bank (UK) Limited

  • Lloyds Bank Private Banking Limited

Designated Credit Reference Agencies

The entities listed below are designated Credit Reference Agencies:

  • CreditSafe Business Solutions Limited

  • Dun & Bradstreet Limited

  • Equifax Limited

  • Experian Limited
