The Departmental Minute by the Chief Secretary to the Treasury was laid on Wednesday 20 July 2022 in Parliament alongside a Written Ministerial Statement. The Departmental Minute notifies Parliament of a contingent liability that the Treasury intends to create for up to £10 billion of UKIB guarantees. The guarantees will facilitate infrastructure investment that contributes to tackling climate change and supporting regional economic growth.
