Ofsted: board members
Jon Yates and Joanne Moran have been reappointed as board members for the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted) for 4 years from 1 August 2026.
Remuneration is £8,282 per annum for an estimated time commitment of 20 days.
Jon Yates has declared the following interests:
- CEO of the Youth Endowment Fund
- Advisory Board Member of the Children’s Commissioner
- Trustee of UK Youth
Joanne Moran has declared the following interests:
- Board Member of Dolphin Housing (Housing Association)
- Non-Executive Director of Vivid (Housing Association)
Jon Yates and Joanne Moran have not declared any political activity.

Ofsted inspects services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. It also inspects and regulates services that care for children and young people. The appointment is made by the Secretary of State for Education.
