This report, published on 24 August 2007, identifies the current training demand and possible future demand for military training in the defence estate in south west England, known as Defence Training Estate South West (DTE SW), and in particular on Dartmoor. The report looks at the resources available to meet the identified training requirement at the time, including training on private land (TOPL), simulation, training overseas, and acquisition of training land.
