Details of the application
David James Caton and Thomas James Caton (trading as J.A. Caton and Son) has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/53/*S/0515 which authorises the abstraction of water from a variety of reaches within the River Nene (old course) and un-named drains within the Middle Level System at Ramsey, Cambridgeshire for spray irrigation.
The variation applied for is to add the additional abstraction reaches at the National Grid References specified below:
