Data recording requirements for youth justice services 2026/27

The requirements provide details of mandatory case level and summary level data to be submitted to the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales (YJB).

     This document replaces any previous versions and must be used for recording from 1st April 2025 by YJSs of all data to be sent to the YJB. It therefore applies to data returns from the July 2025 submission onwards; the changes from the 2024/25 Data Recording Requirements are detailed in the document itself.
