We were asked:

Details

  1. The number of data losses or leaks the department has had since January 2012 until present. Could it be indicated whether the data was lost permanently, or whether it was leaked or fell into the possession of anyone outside the department. This could be any type of data held.

We replied:

A. There have been no data losses or leaks in the Wales Office over this period.

We were asked:

  1. The number of times the Data Protection Act has been breached at the Department in any way, including the disclosure of details of those employed by the department or its agencies or members of the public.

We replied:

A. None

We were asked:

  1. If possible could we get the details of each data loss, leak or breach of the Data Protection Act? i.e. 300 email addresses, and phone numbers were lost, or 20 employee records were leaked, one IPad containing records was left on a train.

We replied:

We were asked:

  1. The fines paid for any breaches.
