Overall Objective for the Qualification
The main purpose of this qualification is to prepare leaders and managers to be able to operate within an organisation where an understanding of key strategic issues which impact on a leader and manager is fundamental to fulfilling high level operational roles and functions.
Pre-entry requirements
An appropriate Level 6 or Level 7 qualification is required or comparable leadership and management experience. It would be anticipated that learners who access this qualification through experiential learning would have held leadership and/or management roles/functions for a minimum of five years.
