1. Overall Objective for the Qualification
The purpose of the qualification is to provide learners with continuous training for in service use, as well as the opportunity to progress towards promotion to Petty Officer.
2. Pre-entry requirements
Entry requirements are detailed in the Course prospectus.
Learners who are taking this qualification must be at OPS for AB WS (TSM) and selected at the promotions board for LS WS (TSM).

This qualification is made up of a total of 5 mandatory units.

5. Age Restriction
This qualification is available to learners aged 18 years and over.
