1. Overall Objective for the Qualification
1.1 Level 3 Award in Coaching and Mentoring
On successful completion of this qualification learners will have the skills and knowledge to effectively operate in a limited capacity as a workplace coach within a functional area of an organisation.
1.2 Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring
On successful completion of this qualification learners will have the skills and knowledge to effectively operate in a broader capacity as a workplace coach both within and across organisation functions.
2. Pre-entry Requirements
There are no formal pre-entry requirements. However, for both qualifications learners are expected to have sufficient knowledge and/or experience on which to develop new levels of expertise and skills.
This knowledge and/or experience could come from formal and/or informal training.
3. Units
3.1 Level 3 Award in Coaching and Mentoring
To achieve this qualification, learners must achieve a minimum of 4 credits.
3.2 Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring
To achieve this qualification, learners must achieve a minimum of 14 credits.
