DFID Zambia commissioned a formative evaluation to provide an early read on the coverage, effectiveness and likelihood of the current programme portfolio achieving DFID Zambia’s Gender Vision (Strategy), and the extent to which this will lead to the empowerment of women and girls. The focus of the evaluation has been to review DFID Zambia’s current portfolio and examine, for improvement and accountability purposes, the breadth and depth of efforts to address the specific needs of women and girls.
