Crisis and Resilience Fund Toolkit - Sample social media posts and assets

Published 6 May 2026

Applies to England

Introduction

The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is a new fund providing a safety net for people in England who are in crisis and in need of immediate financial help, including with housing costs in some instances. It also supports people to build long-term financial resilience for the future.

We have developed a toolkit of products for local authorities to raise awareness and help develop understanding of the CRF within your local communities.

The toolkit contains social media assets, suggested social media copy and downloadable posters to be displayed in public facing locations.

The CRF is available in England only and it replaces the Household Support Fund and Discretionary Housing Payments. Exact eligibility criteria for the CRF will be set by individual Local Authorities, not the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
