Her Majesty’s government welcomes the Justice Select Committee’s latest report on crime reduction policies. The government is proud of its strong record at reducing crime and has put robust measures in place to ensure that crime continues to fall; offenders receive robust punishments; and that the unacceptably high rates of reoffending are driven down.
