Details

The Communities and Local Government Select Committee announced on 27 March 2012 that it was to conduct an inquiry into the role councillors play in their communities. Following the submission of written evidence and a number of evidence sessions, the committee published its report on 10 January 2013.

This report sets out the committee’s specific recommendations in the report and the government’s response to each.
