This is the response to a request for the total number of changes resulting in an increase to council tax band in the last 5 years.

Response

The VOA has published figures relating to changes to council tax bands for the financial years 2010-2011, 2011-2012 and 2013-2014.

The latest release can be found here.

Tables 3.1 and 3.2 provide figures showing changes resulting in an increase to council tax band by region and administrative area respectively.
