We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for
- copies of the minutes of a meeting held on Wednesday 18 July 1984 between David Hall and other chief constables concerning the miners’ strike.
2. copies of any letters and memoranda between the Home Office and Charles McLachlan, chief constable of Nottinghamshire Police and Controller, National Reporting Centre, regarding policing arrangements, disposition of police officers and strategy for dealing with flying pickets during the 1984/85 miners strike.
