This is a sector skills assessment for the construction sector. It aims to provide labour market intelligence for the sector in order to inform the development of skills policy across the UK. Four Sector Skills Councils were involved in its preparation - Construction Skills, Summit Skills, Asset Skills and Semta.

This report includes all business activities related to the following:

  • planning
  • design
  • construction
  • operation
  • maintenance of the built environment
