The Board noted that minutes from the 11 and 26 November 2025 Board meetings were not distributed at this meeting and will be circulated ahead of the next Board meeting.

Strategy, risk and portfolio

3. CEO update

The Board was updated on and discussed recent developments in the CMA’s portfolio and risk profile. It also reviewed the external guidance tracker and the finance update for P07 (October).

4. Digital Markets Board Committee update (DMBC)

The Board was updated on recent DMBC and its sub-committee meetings.

5. Annual Plan (2026 to 2027)

The Board discussed the draft Annual Plan for 2026 to 2027, noting the proposed structure and approach. The Board welcomed the alignment with CMA’s strategic objectives and provided feedback to help shape the final draft plan.

6.  Performance Programme update

The Board received an update on the CMA’s work to enhance performance measurement and accountability.
