The Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust applied to the Secretary of State for Transport to raise their toll charges, following an earlier independent public inquiry. The Secretary of State for Transport, has now approved an order which authorises the tolls increase.
This decision letter explains that the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust is allowed to raise toll charges for cars and motorcycles from 50 pence to £1.
