Details of the application

Clifford J Mottram & Sons Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/033/0053/025/R01 which authorises the abstraction of water from inland waters consisting of the River Nene and Twenty Foot River and un-named drains within the Middle Level System at Elm, March and Doddington, Cambridgeshire.

The variation applied for is to increase the daily abstraction rate from 354 cubic metres per day to 1,100 cubic metres per day and to add the following reaches (National Grid References below):
