On 19 June 2012, the Minister for the Cabinet Office and Head of the Civil Service jointly published the Civil Service Reform Plan, which set out a series of specific and practical actions to bring about an exceptional Civil Service delivering the best for Britain, that is more skilled, less bureaucratic and more unified.

To mark the anniversary of this publication, the Cabinet Office has published the Civil Service Reform: One Year On report, which provides a candid assessment of progress on implementing the 18 actions in the original plan. To support this milestone, we have published a short summary of implementation progress within our department.

HM Treasury will be publishing the Public Expenditure Statistical Analysis 2013 on the 16 July on their website. For information on departmental expenditure, including outturn budgets from 2008-09 to 2012-13 and plans for future years (to 2015-16), please refer to this document.
