The Civil Service Pensions Taskforce is continuing to work alongside Capita to ensure as many people as possible see an improvement in services.
Retirement quotations
A further 800 quotes have been issued since the last update. Capita and employers are working to ensure the data used is correct. We expect to see a significant uptick in dispatched quotes over the coming weeks.
A ‘Quotes Hub’ is live on the CS Pensions website to help answer common questions.
Pension arrears
This factsheet in the Recovery Plan Updates section of the Civil Service Pensions website has been provided by HMRC colleagues to help members with pension arrears.
Escalations
The recovery team is working alongside Capita and employers to manage escalations with regards to ill health retirements, death in service and bereavement cases.
Transitional Support Loans
Transitional Support Loan payments can be increased to a maximum of £20,000 in exceptional cases, should members need additional financial support. Members should apply through the existing route, which is through employers.
