David Willetts hosts Chinese Science Minister Wan Gang in London for the 7th UK China Joint Commission on Science and Technology. Substantial progress made on the Newton Fund as Ministers agree to first programmes at People to People Dialogue, with subsequent programmes to follow. The UK joins the handful of countries which have an Innovation Dialogue with China at Ministerial level.
