Chew Stoke flood warning gauge

The Environment Agency gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement work to the flood defences at Chew Stoke flood warning gauge, River Chew, Chew Stoke, BS40 8XT (NGR ST56016 61764). The proposed improvement work will involve relocating telemetry in a new cabinet with new mains supply.

The Environment Agency considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. The works information is available for review by appointment with the project manager.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, within 28 days of the date of publication of this notice.
