Changes to Tobacco Duty rates from 11 March 2020
This Tax Information and Impact Note is about the increase in tobacco duty rates from 11 March 2020.

Details
This measure confirms the duty rate on all tobacco products will increase by 2% above the Retail Price Index inflation. Hand-rolling tobacco will rise by an additional 4%, to 6% above Retail Price Index inflation. These changes will take effect from 6:00pm on 11 March 2020.
