These amendments come into effect from February 2013 and change the reporting requirements for Quality Accounts being published in June this year.
The regulations have been amended to:
- take into account changes to the care system from April 2013, following the introduction of the Health and Social Care Act 2012
- change what information trusts are required to report in future Quality Accounts. A letter dated 16 February 2012 (gateway ref 172401) sets out a proposed change to include mandatory reporting of a core set of quality indicators.
