Cerne Abbas flow gauge

The Environment Agency gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement work to the flood defences on Cerne Abbas flow gauge, River Cerne, Dorset, DT2 7GY (NGR ST66390 01508). The proposed improvement work will involve the installation of mains supply to the new telemetry kiosk to increase resilience.

The Environment Agency considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. The works information is available for review by appointment with the project manager.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, within 28 days of the date of publication of this notice.
