Details
The tables show CDC investment flow data in countries since 2009, and continue the time series of data presented in Statistics on International Development (SID) prior to 2015. Since 2012, CDC only makes new investments in countries in Africa and South Asia – where 80 per cent of the world’s poorest people live. The data reflects investments made by CDC both before and after 2012.
Following a public consultation in 2014, the UK changed the way it recorded CDC’s contribution to ODA in 2015 to reporting only the Government’s capital subscription to the organisation as ODA. Statistics on International Development 2016 reflects this changed reporting
