1. Name of project
Mozambique LNG project.
2. Description of project
The project involves the development of offshore gas production facilities (Area 1 block), connected to an onshore gas receiving and natural gas liquefaction facility (12.88 MTPA capacity) and related infrastructure. The project will supply gas for LNG exports and domestic consumption.
3. Location of project
Afungi pensinsula in Cabo Delgado Province of north-eastern Mozambique. The offshore element is within the Area 1 block of the Rovuma Basin.
