1. Name of project

Kitgum to Kidepo Road Project, Uganda.

2. Description of project

The proposed Project will involve the rehabilitation of an existing road in northern Uganda. The road is approximately 116 km long, stretching from a junction on the Kitgum-Acholibur Road in Kitgum town to outside the boundary of Kidepo Valley National Park, terminating approximately 2km from the park.

The upgrade of the road segment will support accessibility to markets for the productive agricultural areas of Kitgum and Karenga districts, with the aim of enhancing regional economic and social connectivity.

The Uganda Ministry of Works and Transport have responsibility for delivering the road
project.

3. Location of project

Northern Uganda.
