1. Name of project

Hai Long 2 & 3 Offshore Windfarm

2. Description of project

The project involves the development of three phases of offshore wind development including Hai Long 2a (300MW), Hai Long 2b (232MW) and Hai Long 3 (512MW). This will include 37 Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) at Hai Long 2, 36 WTG at Hai Long 3 and associated onshore and offshore substations and cabling.

3. Location of project

Approximately 40-50km from the Western shore of Taiwan

4. Source of environmental information

An Environmental Impact Assessment was developed for the Project (Chinese with Non-Technical Summary available in English) and a range of supplementary assessments (English) have also been developed. These documents can be accessed at the following weblinks:
