Elecnor, Lot 4 La Cotiere Transmission Line and Associated Substations Project, Guinea.
2. Description of project
The Project consists of the design, construction and operation of a 225 kV transmission line, approximately 190km long, from Boké to Gaoual. The Project includes the construction of a new substation in Gaoual, transforming 225 kV current into 30 kV current. The Project corresponds to Lot 4 of the La Cotiere electrification programme.
The objective of the Project is to contribute to the distribution of the energy produced by the existing Souapiti (450 MW) and Kaléta (234 MW) hydroelectric plants, strengthening the energy transmission network of the region.

Boké region, Republic of Guinea.
